This is a phase 2 study to determine 2-HOBA's tolerability, safety, and effect on isoLG-adducts in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. Up to 32 subjects will be randomized to 750mg 2-HOBA or matching placebo three times a day for 4 weeks. As primary outcome measures investigators will compare tolerability and adverse events and changes in isoLG adducts in active and placebo arms. Among prespecified exploratory outcomes investigators will compare changes in markers of inflammation, DAS28 score, and 24-hour blood pressure in active and placebo arms. This pilot study will inform the feasibility and design of future...
A multi-center, prospective, randomized, controlled comparison of the prodisc C SK and prodisc C Vivo to the control, a similar, legally marketed total disc replacement device in subjects with symptomatic cervical disc disease (SCDD).
The purpose of this research is to investigate if a 12-week program of stimulation assisted activities can combat disuse atrophy for individuals diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis (KOA). This study will use a home-based medical device to administer electrical stimulation and measure its effect on outcomes that include quadriceps strength, perceived functional capacity, pain, and walking performance. It was hypothesized that stimulation assisted activities will show larger muscle mass and strength improvements; improved gait kinematics, pain and perceived function; and a high compliance to the assigned program compared to no ...
To compile real-world outcomes of the Superion™ IDS in routine clinical practice.
This is an observational, descriptive, prospective and retrospective data collection study. The purpose of this study is to observe radiographic outcomes of patients who will undergo anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) utilizing Tritanium C (Stryker Spine). The rate of fusion success and adverse events will be compared retrospectively to patients who underwent instrumented ACDF utilizing structural allograft bone with plates.
This study will evaluate if there is a difference in recovery of tendon structure and mechanical properties between males and females with Achilles tendinopathy receiving exercise treatment. It will evaluate recovery of tendinopathy with exercise intervention using outcome measures for tendon structure and mechanical properties along with validated measures of muscle-tendon function and symptoms.
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of LY3857210 in participants with Osteoarthritic Pain
The purpose of this trial is to collect clinical outcomes including radiographic and CT outcomes in patients who undergo spinal fusion using the Keos Lumbar Interbody Fusion Device.
The proposed investigation is a multi-center, prospective, randomized, controlled comparison of the BAGUERA®C to the control, a similar, legally marketed total disc replacement device in subjects with symptomatic cervical disc disease (SCDD) at two contiguous levels. Subjects will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to the two-level BAGUERA®C Cervical Disc Prosthesis (investigational group) or to the two-level Mobi-C® Cervical Disc (control group). Subjects enrolled in the study will be evaluated pre-operatively, at the time of surgery, discharge, and at 6 weeks, 3, 6, 12, and 24 months and then annually until 7 years post-surgery.
The proposed investigation is a multi-center, prospective, randomized, controlled comparison of the BAGUERA®C to the control, a similar, legally marketed total disc replacement device in subjects with symptomatic cervical disc disease (SCDD). Subjects will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to the one-level BAGUERA®C Cervical Disc Prosthesis (investigational group) or to the one-level Mobi-C® Cervical Disc (control group). Subjects enrolled in the study will be evaluated pre-operatively, at the time of surgery, discharge, and at 6 weeks, 3, 6, 12, and 24 months and then annually until 7 years post-surgery.
