Solve Together is a platform designed to collect clinical data about post-infectious diseases, including ME/CFS and Long Covid. This data is made available to researchers and will be used to identify participants eligible for clinical studies. The platform also empowers patients to make reports for their doctors, connect medical records and/or a health-tracking wearable device, and identify their unique symptoms and health patterns.
Creation of a pediatric robotic spine surgery registry will allow for data collection and analysis on the coupled use of robotics and navigation in pediatric spine deformity surgery across participating study institutions. Eventually, an educational and informative framework for this technology will be established.
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and effects of stimulating the splenic neurovascular bundle (NVB) with the Galvani System, which consists of a lead, implantable pulse generator, external components and accessories. The study will consist of 4 study periods, including a Randomized Control Trial period (Period 1), an Open Label period (Period 2), a Treat-to-target period (Period 3), and a Long-term Follow-up period (Period 4). Participants eligible for implant will have active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have an inadequate response or intolerance to at least two biologic Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs...
The purpose of this research is to gather post-market data regarding the effectiveness of the SPRINT Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) System for the treatment of chronic shoulder pain due to chronic degenerative changes of your shoulder. The System delivers mild electrical stimulation to the muscles in your shoulder. The System includes up to two leads (small wires) that are placed through your skin into your shoulder. The leads attach to a device worn on your body that deliver stimulation (called a Stimulator). The device is cleared by the FDA for up to 60 days of use for the relief of chronic or acute pain.
The study is designed to learn more about the causes of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). People who get RA have elevated protein markers called autoantibodies in their blood years before initial symptoms of arthritis. The goal of this study is to learn more about how autoantibodies in RA might be related to inflammation in the lungs.
The purpose of the OTIS Autoimmune Diseases in Pregnancy Study is to monitor planned and unplanned pregnancies exposed to certain medications, to evaluate the possible teratogenic effect of these medications and to follow live born infants for one year after birth. With respect to fetal outcome, it is important to evaluate the spectrum of outcomes that may be relevant to a medication exposure during pregnancy, and these include both easily recognizable defects which are visible at birth, as well as more subtle or delayed defects that may not be readily identifiable without special expertise and observation beyond the newborn...
There is a large population of patients with lumbosacral radicular pain due to spinal stenosis who do not respond to physical therapy or oral medication management, yet wish to avoid spinal surgery or are simply not candidates due to medical co-morbidity. Given the natural history of lumbar spinal stenosis, these patients typically suffer from chronic pain and disability. Currently, the typical treatment for this population is serial corticosteroid injection. The efficacy of the treatment specifically for the indication of spinal stenosis is in question and is associated with both concerning chronic sequelae and the risk, although ...
To determine the effect of first dorsal interosseus (FDI) strengthening in patients with thumb carpometacarpal (CMC) osteoarthritis.
The overall goal of this study is to investigate the effects of stress and glucose intake at the molecular level including gene expression, protein and functional analysis of immune cells in real time. Aim 1- Characterizing the immune response after acute stress and glucose consumption Aim 2- Temporal mapping of the modulation of immune cell function via meditation Aim 3-Influence of meditative practice on lupus patients Aim 4-Influence of meditative practice on healthy subjects Current Clinicaltrials.gov record, will be focused on Aim-3 only. Aim-3 will test whether meditation alters neutrophil function and inflammation...
Patients diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) confront decisions about how to treat their disease, interact with their health care providers, and modify lifestyle choices that may improve treatment outcomes. With sponsorship support from Janssen and in partnership with the Cleveland Clinic, this survey study will seek to understand and examine whether people living with PsA are interested in and motivated to participate in wellness activities. This cross-sectional observational survey study will help researchers and clinicians to better understand what some of the barriers and facilitators experienced by patients are when ...
