Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) is defined as a three-dimensional lateral deformity of the spine. It is described with a cobb angle of greater than 10 degrees. There is no known etiology of AIS. Once the degrees of curvature become severe (greater than 45 degrees), surgical intervention (posterior spinal fusion - PSF) is often discussed. Most adolescent patients and their families opt for surgical correction to decrease future complications of severe scoliosis, such as decreased vital capacity of the lungs, potential future activity restrictions, cosmetic appearance, and self-esteem. While the patient and family are eager to ...
The investigators aim to investigate whether the addition of a surgeon-administered adductor canal blockade to a multimodal periarticular injection cocktail provides additional pain relief for patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty. This study will help identify the effectiveness of surgeon-administered adductor canal blockade in perioperative pain control for patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty
The purpose of this study is to analyze the long-term outcomes of surgical treatment of idiopathic scoliosis of all curve patterns treated by either anterior or posterior procedures. In addition, to analyze the long-term outcomes of non-operative idiopathic scoliosis.
This study is being conducted to evaluate the clinical and radiographic outcomes of three different interbody implant types when used with cancellous allograft chips with BMA or cellular allograft in patients undergoing XLIF surgery. The study will evaluate success by comparing the rate of fusion, complications profile, and any relationships between clinical outcomes (pain and function) and radiographic outcomes (fusion rate) between the three implant groups.
This is an international, single arm, multicenter, prospective, non-significant risk, Post-Market Clinical Follow-up (PMCF) study. Data will be collected for the commercially available AEQUALIS FLEX REVIVE shoulder system in both the anatomic and reversed configurations. The purpose of this study is to collect data needed to satisfy the European Union (EU) Medical Device Regulation (MDR) clinical post-market surveillance (PMS) and reporting requirements, and to support future regulatory submissions and peer-reviewed publications on device performance and safety.
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability BIIB059 (litifilimab) in participants who completed the parent study 230LE301 (NCT05531565) with active subacute CLE and/or chronic CLE with or without systemic manifestations and refractory and/or intolerant to antimalarial therapy. The secondary objectives of the study are to evaluate the long-term effect of litifilimab on disease activity and the effect of litifilimab in preventing disease damage in participants with active subacute CLE and/or chronic CLE with or without systemic manifestations and refractory and/or intolerant to...
The objectives of this prospective observational cohort study are to evaluate the safety, reliability, reproducibility, and accuracy of the Canary canturioTM te post-TKA.
Primary Objectives: 1. The primary efficacy objective is to assess the efficacy of 52 weeks of open-label treatment with HZN-825 in participants with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis, as measured by change from both baselines in forced vital capacity percent (FVC %) predicted. 2. The primary safety objective is to examine the safety and tolerability of 52 weeks of open-label treatment with HZN-825, inclusive of, but not limited to, adverse events (AEs), serious AEs (SAEs) and the adverse event of special interest (AESI), from Day 1 to 4 weeks after last dose.
The Researchers want to assess the short-term safety of Anterior Vertebral Body Tethering (AVBT) in skeletally immature subjects with moderate to severe scoliosis and compare them with a fusion cohort.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of litifilimab in participants with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The secondary objectives of this study are to evaluate the long-term effect of litifilimab on disease activity in participants with SLE, to evaluate the long-term effect of litifilimab in participants with SLE in maintaining low disease activity, to evaluate the effect of litifilimab in participants with active SLE in preventing irreversible organ damage, to assess long-term use of oral corticosteroid (OCS) with participants receiving litifilimab treatment, to assess...
